Authentication

This endpoint requires a Bearer token. Obtain one first from the Get Access Token endpoint, then pass it as Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Initiates the BVN Identity verification process by validating the customer's BVN and providing the available channels through which the verification code can be received. The returned contact information is masked to protect the customer's personal details.

Prerequisites

This is step 1 of the BVN Identity verification flow. Call this endpoint with the customer's BVN to initialize the verification process and obtain the available verification channels.
